Pre-Tattoo Information
- You must be 18 to get tattooed. Please bring government issued photo ID with you regardless of age. You will lose your deposit if you do no have it.
- You must send any images/references at least 72 hours before your appointment- if you arrive on the day and want to make any large changes to your design you may lose your deposit.
- Please let us know of any medical conditons or medications that may require a doctors note prior to your appointment.
- If you need to reschedule your appointment you MUST inform us at least 72 hours before your appointment or you WILL lose your deposit.
- If you are over 20 minutes late you may lose your deposit.
DO:
- Eat a substantial meal at least 2 hours before your appointment.
- Gentally exfoliate the area before your appointment.
- Bring sugary drinks & snacks.
- Shower before your appointment.
- Wear comfortable clothing that allows east access to the area being tattooed.
DONT:
- Moisturise or shave the area yourself before the appointment.
- Drink alcohol within 24hrs of your appointment.
- Use numbing cream.
Tattoo Aftercare
- Once the tattoo is on your body it is your resposibility.
- A new tattoo if an open wound. Please treat it with care, consideration and common sense.
- The tattooed area will be irritated and sensitive- similar to sun burn.
- If looked after properly, your tattoo should be healed within 10-14 days.
DO:
- Remove the cover when you get home.
- Wash your tattoo with warm water and unscented soap- rinse well.
- Pat dry with clean towel/ paper towel- do NOT rub it.
- Apply a small amount of moisturiser and massage it in well- apply more when it starts to feel dry.
- ONLY use products recommended by your artist.
DONT:
- Soak your tattoo in the bath or shower.
- Pick it or scratch it.
- Go swimming for at least 2 weeks after your apppointment.
- Use vaseline, sudocrem or any scented or purfumed products on your tattoo.
- Wear tight fitting clothes over your tattoo.
- Sunbathe or use sunbeds.
